As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Access Authentication in Dallas, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.05 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and members of the public while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry through established credentialing, visitor registration, and access‑control procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and access‑related records in accordance with site policies and applicable procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access‑control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter to identify and report access‑related concerns or unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
