Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Security Officer Enhanced for Lakeland, Florida. The role involves armed/unarmed patrols, access control, CCTV monitoring, and report writing, with a focus on deterring crime and maintaining safety.

Requirements include 3+ years in security or related fields, 21+ age, valid driver’s license, and post-hire certifications. Benefits include weekly pay options and no-cost uniforms/training.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer owned vehicle.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Completion of judgmental use of force instructional course within the past two (2) years.
• Must possess, or be able to obtain post-hire, each of the following certifications: First Aid, CPR, AED, ACS Stop the Bleed.
• Minimum of three (3) consecutive years of experience within the last ten (10) years in one or more of the following: Law enforcement, Corrections, Military service, Armed security/protective service experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age, or higher if required by the state.
• Proficiency in the use of firearms, specifically the semi -automatic pistol platform; FBI standard course score of 80% or higher.
• Be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
• Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
• Effective oral and written communication skills; able to write informatively, clearly, and accurately.
• Attention to detail; problem solving and active listening skills.
• Able to assess and evaluate situations quickly and accurately.
• Skilled in data compilation, sorting, and interpretation; strong research/investigative skills.
• Able to mediate conflict with tact and diplomacy.
• Teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions (loitering, smoking, forbidden articles).
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure proper client-compliant removal of property.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site post orders.
• Provide productivity and cost-reduction recommendations to management.
• Suggest recommendations for physical security surveys and post orders.

Job Description

Allied Universal® is hiring an Armed Security Officer Enhanced. The Armed Security Officer Enhanced will conduct armed and/or unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrol (interior and/or exterior). Additional duties include control access and egress; monitor CCTV and alarm systems; compose reports; help deter criminal activity and misconduct.

• Employment Type: Full Time
• Starting Base Pay: $32.00 per hour
• Workdays Available: Monday - Friday
• 3 -5 years
• Must Be 21+ Years of Age for Role
• A Valid Driver's License
• 3+ Years Security, Military, or Law Enforcement Experience or Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice

• Make productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management
• Make recommendations for physical security surveys and post orders

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer owned vehicle
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• Completion of judgmental use of force instructional course within the past two (2) years
• Must possess, or be able to obtain post-hire, each of the following certifications:
  • First Aid
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
  • Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
  • ACS Stop the Bleed
• Minimum of three (3) consecutive years of experience within the last ten (10) years in one or more of the following:
  • Law enforcement
  • Corrections
  • Military service
  • Armed security/protective service experience
• Be at least 21 years of age, or higher if required by the state
• Proficiency in the use of firearms, specifically the semi -automatic pistol platform; documented firearms range score of 80 percentage points or higher, utilizing the current FBI standard course of fire
• Be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
• Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
• Effective oral and written communication skills; able to write informatively, clearly, and accurately
• Attention to detail; problem solving and active listening skills
• Able to assess and evaluate situations effectively; identify critical issues quickly and accurately
• Skilled in the compilation, sorting, and interpreting data; excellent research and investigative skills
• Able to mediate conflict with tact, diplomacy
