Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to identify hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity and document observations.

As a Armed Security Officer-Driving in Denver, CO, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $28.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Thur 02:00 AM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site‑specific procedures, documenting observations and escalating concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate reports, maintain required activity logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and/or client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Possess four or more years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
