Job summary

P&G Security is hiring Armed Security Officers to provide protective services at the 145th Air National Guard, Charlotte, NC. The role requires U.S. citizenship, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance. Work is available on day, swing, and night shifts with a revolving schedule.

Officers conduct access control, armed patrols, and incident reporting in a high-security environment. A valid armed license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required for base access and clearance eligibility.
• High School diploma or GED.
• 2 years of security, law enforcement, or military experience recommended.
• Current armed security license or ability to obtain one during onboarding.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret clearance.
• Clean background and drug screening.
• Grooming standards compliance.
• Ability to pass PPSB standards for pistol, shotgun, and AR-15.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Control access to the installation, verifying credentials of personnel, contractors, and visitors.
• Conduct armed patrols of restricted areas, facilities, and perimeter zones.
• Monitor for threats of unauthorized activity and respond per established rules of engagement.
• Assist Air Force Security Forces and coordinate during emergencies, drills, and real-world incidents.
• Prepare incident and activity reports per required DoD policy and post orders.
• Ensure all security operations comply with Air Force regulations and contract standards.
