Job Skills / Requirements

• Prior law enforcement experience is required.
• Military veterans and individuals with firefighting, corrections, or law enforcement backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
• Availability for various shifts (Monday - Friday), 1st & 2nd shifts (7am - 8pm).
• Pay rate: $22.00/hour (non-negotiable, varies by contract and position).

About This Contract

This high-level security role is based at a state courthouse. Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining order and providing excellent customer service in hallways and waiting areas.
• Monitoring surveillance cameras and patrolling the building.
• Providing off-site security for VIPs.
• Assisting courtroom staff and visitors with security concerns.
• Preventing unauthorized access and responding to emergencies calmly and professionally.

This position is for armed security officers, who do not detain individuals unless directed by officials, and may assist with courtroom security as needed.

Uniform

The dress code includes navy dress pants, blazer, tie, a white button-down shirt, and black dress shoes, all provided by the company. Uniforms are to be returned upon employment termination.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 1 year of verifiable law enforcement experience.
• Minimum age 21 and high school diploma or GED.
• Licensed CPL or LEOSA cardholder, able to pass firearm and tactics training.
• Pass psychological, drug, and background checks.
• Able to stand, walk, lift 70 lbs, and see/hear clearly.
• Proficient in English and possess excellent customer service and integrity.
