Top Guard Security, Inc. is seeking Armed Security Officers for a site in Richmond. The company provides security services to a range of clients in Virginia and emphasizes strong officer performance and customer service.

Positions require DCJS armed certification and baton certification (or willingness to obtain baton certification). Responsibilities include access control, patrolling, visitor screening, radio communications, and coordination with client staff.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 25 years of age
• Authorized to work in the United States
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
• Must be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time, up to a full 8-hour shift
• Must be able to endure cold and hot weather for extended periods of time, up to a full 8-hour shift
• Occasionally lift or pull up to 50lbs
• Speak audibly, clearly and understandable in order to have information understood or to contact authorities.
• Weekends and holidays required
• Demonstrate professional demeanor at all times, maintaining company expectations for customer service
• Strong Communication Skills

• Situational decision making; notifications to appropriate personnel as needed

Responsibilities

• Access control in a secured building.
• Patrolling the facility.
• Completing radio checks with the other officer and our client.
• Checking in all visitors.
• Communicating with various staff on visitors and/or issues occurring.
• Other duties as assigned by Account Manager and/or our client
