Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Cleared Security Officer in Magna, Utah. You will protect people, property, and information, patrolling the site and enforcing rules to maintain safety and order.

Requirements include active DoD Secret Clearance, armed guard license, U.S. citizenship, 21+ years, and a high school diploma (or 5 years of experience). Excellent incident reporting skills and ongoing training support career growth.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Must be able to obtain a DoD security clearance.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws and regulations.
• Minimum of three years of law enforcement, military, or private armed security experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older where required by state.
• Must be a United States Citizen to obtain government clearance.
• Ability to articulate and write clear incident or situation reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality security services for personnel, property, and information.
• Conduct patrols on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to protect assets and sensitive information.
• Preserve order and enforce site rules and directives.
• Greet guests and employees; escort visitors and secure ingress/egress points.
• Follow post orders and report safety concerns or breaches via written/verbal updates.
• Respond to alarms; act as first responder and provide first aid if necessary.

Allied Universal® is hiring an Armed Cleared Security Officer. At Allied Universal, the Armed Cleared Security Officer is entrusted with sensitive information and given the responsibility to protect classified information and personnel. As an Armed Cleared Security Officer, you'll receive specialized training in site-specific security protocols associated with your clearance level, allowing for skill development and professional growth in the security field.

Pay:

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information
• Preserve order and enforces rules, regulations, and directives for the viability of the site
• Greet guests and employees, assisting where appropriate; escort visitors and contractors, secure ingress and egress points, secure classified information
• Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders, reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and verbal communication; interact with client and/or other security personnel regarding order execution when appropriate
• Respond to and assess security alarms or emergency alarms; act as a first responder in emergency situations and provide first aid as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Must be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance (national security eligibility determinations take into account a person's stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment)
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• Must have a minimum of three (3) years of law enforcement, military, or private armed security experience
• Minimum of 21 years of age (or higher if required by the state)
• Must be a United States Citizen in order to obtain the required government clearance
• Must be able to articulate and write clear and concise incident or situation reports

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

• Associate's degree or higher In Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field
