Job summary

Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Officer - Cleared (Clearance Eligible - Armed). An Armed Cleared Security Officer protects classified information and personnel and receives site-specific training for clearance level requirements.

Pay rate is $25.35 per hour. Responsibilities include patrolling, guarding, greeting guests, and reporting incidents. Must meet DoD clearance eligibility and possess strong communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a DoD-cleared site or prior military experience.
• Minimum of 21 years of age (or higher if required by the state).
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Intermediate computer skills to operate wireless technology at client sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism.
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure protection of people and assets.
• Greet guests and escort visitors and contractors to secure entry/exit points.
• Follow site-specific manuals and post orders; report safety concerns and security breaches to client/security personnel.
• Respond to and assess security alarms or emergency alarms.
• Act as a first responder in emergency situations.

Job Description

Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Officer - Cleared (Clearance Eligible - Armed). At Allied Universal, an Armed Cleared Security Officer is entrusted with sensitive information and given the responsibility to protect classified information and personnel. As an Armed Cleared Security Officer, you\'ll receive specialized training in site-specific security protocols associated with your clearance level, allowing for skill development and professional growth in the security field.

Pay Rate: $25.35

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information
• Greet guests and employees and escorts visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points
• Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnel
• Respond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms
• Act as a first responder in emergency situations

Qualifications (must Have)

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance (national security eligibility determinations take into account a person\'s stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment)
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• Must possess one or more of the following:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site
  • Prior military experience
• Minimum of 21 years of age (or higher if required by the state)
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites

Preferred Qualifications (nice To Have)

• Prior law enforcement or armed security experience
• Associate\'s degree or higher In Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field
