POSITION SUMMARY:

We are currently seeking Armed Security Guards to support the 24/7 operations of multiple customer facilities (GVA) located in the Chantilly and Tysons Corner VA areas. Various full-time shifts are available for enthusiastic individuals who possess a Full Scope Polygraph (TS/SCI with FSP) and are looking to join an expanding team within a large organization that offers career growth potential.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Control access to facilities by monitoring security equipment, inspecting vehicles, and verifying personnel identification.
• Respond to incidents using appropriate escalation of force, including armed response, following established Use of Force Policy.
• Handle emergencies such as fire, medical incidents, bomb threats, elevator issues, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other situations day or night.
• Observe and report suspicious activity or incidents.
• Maintain proficiency and safety in the use of all assigned equipment, control devices, and weapons.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of experience in Law Enforcement, Department of Corrections, Security, or the U.S. Armed Forces.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with minimal assistance.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to interpret documents to ensure compliance with rules and procedures.
• Successful passing of criminal, credit, and driving record checks.
• Ability to complete all training and obtain certifications including CPR, First Aid, and AED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Current TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly clearance.
