Location: Miami - Downtown Brickell, a premier location on the Miami Skyline

Armed security officers must have their own firearm, duty belt, and Level 3 holster.

Compensation: $27.00 per hour

Security Officers are responsible for deterring crime, protecting property, and enforcing rules. Some monitor surveillance, others patrol and conduct security checks. Armed officers must carry their firearm professionally and non-threateningly.

Ideal traits include excellent people skills, professionalism, attention to detail, ownership, team commitment, outgoing nature, and drive. Previous experience in corrections, law enforcement, military security, or shift leadership is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Deterring criminal activity and misconduct
• Warning violators of infractions
• Patrolling premises to identify risks
• Responding to alarms and emergencies
• Accurate reporting and documentation
• Responding to emergencies with appropriate escalation, including armed response
• Maintaining proficiency with equipment and weapons
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Valid FL Security D-G License
• Valid FL Driver's License
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Strong communication skills
• Minimum 2 years security experience, including armed security
• Approved firearm, duty belt, and Level 3 holster
• Ability to pass background and drug screening
• Physical ability to perform duties, including extended periods of walking, standing, and other physical activities
