OPS Security Group in West Chester, PA seeks an Armed Security Officer (ACT-235 Required) to safeguard facilities and transport election materials. This full-time role requires vigilance and adherence to security protocols across multiple Chester County locations.

Qualifications

• ACT 235 (current) required.
• 21 years of age.
• Must have a current and valid drivers license.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year armed security experience recommended.
• Must pass PAT and ASO course.
• Must pass drug screen.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Extensive use of force knowledge.
• Must pass a comprehensive background investigation, urinalysis screening and OPS training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional armed security presence while transporting voting ballots and election materials between designated Chester County locations.
• Maintain continuous control and accountability of all ballots and election materials from receipt to transfer to authorized receiving party.
• Verify pickup and delivery locations before accepting or releasing election materials and follow chain-of-custody procedures.
• Ballots and materials are never left unattended, unsecured, or released to unauthorized recipients.
• Complete all required pickup, transport, and delivery documentation, including times, locations, contacts, and handoff confirmations.
