Job summary

Walden Security is seeking a part-time weekend Security Officer in Auburn, AL to protect client properties from fire, vandalism and unauthorized entry. This role supports a diverse client base from offices to manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities include access control, patrols and report writing, with training provided and background checks required. Pistol permit in Alabama preferred; armed security license preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Ability to pass criminal background check and drug test.
• Pistol Permit in Alabama.
• Armed Security License preferred.
• Previous military or law enforcement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Protect industrial or commercial property against fire, vandalism and illegal entry.
• Cover weekend shifts as part of a part-time weekend position.

What You Will Do

Our Security Officers protect the Industrial or Commercial property of our clients against fire, vandalism and illegal entry.

Our clients range from Class-A Office Buildings, Luxury Residential Properties, Distilleries, Fortune 500 Companies, Financial Institutions, Telecommunications, Manufacturing/Industrial Factories, Hospitals and many others.

The position that is available is a part-time weekend position.

Requirements

• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Minimum of 21 years of age
• Ability to pass criminal background check and drug test
• Pistol Permit in Alabama
• Armed Security License preferred
• Previous military or law enforcement experience preferred
