Job summary

Paragon is seeking a Security Officer (Armed - Energy Services) to safeguard client sites under the supervision of the site manager. You will observe and report incidents, control access, respond to emergencies, and enforce site regulations to ensure safety and security.

Ideal candidates are 21+, hold a high school diploma or GED, and possess armed security credentials or licensing as required. Strong communication, reporting, and ability to work under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Armed security credentials and licensing may be required by site.
• Ability to communicate clearly and maintain professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Control access to client site and facilities; manage admittance and visitor screening.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents following site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Monitor entrances/exits, prevent unauthorized access, and maintain logs/reports.
• Patrol assigned areas and inspect for hazards, security breaches, or safety risks.
• Provide courteous and professional interactions to clients and staff.
