Job summary

Constellis is seeking a security guard to support DHS protocols, ensuring security for personnel, property, facilities and assets. The role includes entry control, deterrence of unauthorized access, and safeguarding the facility against incidents.

Pay starts at training $18.00/hour, then $39.05/hour, plus Health and Welfare $5.65/hour. Candidates must meet extensive eligibility and background requirements and be ready for long shifts.

Qualifications

• Two years armed security experience or one year in a full-duty law enforcement role with resignation in good standing.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or legally eligible to work in the United States or a lawful permanent resident with honorable discharge.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide security protection and access control.
• Protect government property, classified material and personnel to deter unauthorized access or theft.
• Report and respond to unusual or emergency situations.
• Be alert for security, property or safety concerns and take appropriate actions.
• Control ingress/egress into posted/controlled/security areas.
• Prevent and report violations of security and safety rules.
• Respond to protective alarm signals or suspicious activities.
• Maintain knowledge of all security and guard orders relating to duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
