Job summary

Walden Security is seeking Armed Security Officers to support the Center for Domestic Preparedness contract in Anniston, AL. Officers will follow post orders, control access, inspect packages, and perform patrols to protect facilities and personnel.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of armed security experience. Strong ethics, communication, and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of two years full-time experience in armed security, civilian law enforcement, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Follows all assigned post orders, both general and specific.
• Maintains compliance with policies and procedures and the SOW.
• Controls access to the facility, including unrestricted areas.
• Enforces systems of personnel identification.
• Inspects packages/vehicles.
• Performs static and roving patrols.
• Identifies and corrects security violations and initiates reports.
• Identifies, detains, and reports suspects until law enforcement arrives.
• Performs traffic control as needed.
• Receives, issues, and accounts for keys and access passes.
• Monitors alarms and protection devices.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.
• Completes monthly required training.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
