Job summary

Security Engineers, Inc. is seeking Armed Security Officers for 2nd shift in Alabama. The role requires carrying a firearm, enforcing security policies, patrolling, monitoring access, and coordinating with law enforcement as needed.

The position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, competitive wages ($15.00 per hour) and paid training where allowed by state law. Applicants must have or be able to obtain a valid state license and meet minimum age and training requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid state Security Officer/Guard License (or ability to obtain).
• 21+ years old.
• Must pass armed training and possess a valid pistol permit.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular walking patrols to enhance safety and report concerns.
• Monitor facility access points; verify IDs and credentials.
• Enforce security procedures per Post Instructions.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol.
• Maintain accurate activity, observation, and incident logs.
• Complete routine tasks such as locking/unlocking doors, monitoring cameras, and managing security systems.
• Assist visitors and employees and address concerns professionally.
• Enforce SEI and Client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking).
• Maintain a clean, pressed uniform and professional appearance.
