Sunstates Security is currently hiring Armed Security Officers to work in the Austin, TX area. This position is for 1st shift and offers a pay rate of $25.00/hr, paid weekly.

Requirements:

• Level III Security Officer License in hand
• Must have your own weapon
• Current MMPI required; Sunstates will assist with the $185 fee if selected to proceed with hiring.
• Reliable means of transportation to and from work
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen prior to hire
• Prior Military/Law Enforcement experience is preferred
• At least 3 years of security experience
• At least 3 years of customer service experience
• Reliable means of communication
• Must have open availability to work overtime as needed

Job Duties:

A Security Officer may perform various duties as specified by Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The officer will read, understand, and act quickly and efficiently according to these directives.

Education Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent

Certification Requirements: Level III Texas Security License

This is a full and part-time position. Travel is not required.
