Job summary

Shaw Secure Solutions, LLC. is seeking an Armed Security Officer in Louisville, KY. The role involves observing and reporting at an assigned client site, conducting patrols, enforcing site regulations, and controlling access to the facility.

You will prepare logs and respond to incidents as needed, with opportunities for special assignments and advancement. Candidates must have armed security experience (military, law enforcement), CCDW certification, and pass a background/fingerprint check plus

• Must pass background check and fingerprinting.
• Drug test required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Observes and reports activities at the client site to protect property and personnel.
• Performs periodic patrols to check for hazards, devices, and security violations.
• Controls access to the site via the admission process.
• Maintains logs and reports as required.
• Responds to incidents such as fires, medical emergencies, or security threats.
• Conducts special security assignments as needed.

Armed Security Officer

• Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Makes periodic patrols to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment.
• Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.
• Controls access to client site or facility through the admittance process.
• Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.
• Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
• Responds to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents.
• Prepares logs and reports as required
• Work special security assignments as required.
• Job Type: Full-time, Part-Time

***Required to have security, armed experience, (either military, law enforcement), and at least the CCDW to even be considered***

***Required to pass background and fingerprinting process and drug test***

Hourly: starting at $18.00 then $22.00 per hour (Once training is complete and fully armed.)
