Job Skills / Requirements

Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is recruiting for security officers with excellent customer service and security skills to join our team in West Memphis.

- LICENSED Armed Vehicle Patrol

Pay rate is $18/hr, paid weekly.

Shift times vary and will be discussed during the hiring process.

Position requires an active Arkansas Guard License, a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and an MVR for vehicle patrol duties. Candidates must be 25 years or older.

Prior law enforcement, military, or security experience is a plus, but training will be provided to the right candidate.

You will help prevent and deter crime by:

• Performing regular and random patrols of premises
• Reporting security incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences
• Executing control procedures when necessary
• Operating emergency equipment
• Documenting nightly operations and filing weekly reports
• Investigating property breaches

You must meet the following requirements:

• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
• Strong communication skills
• Professional appearance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible availability, including weekends
• Reliable transportation and active cellphone
• Ability to pass a drug screening

Physical and Mental Job Requirements:

• Effective communication skills, especially in emergencies
• Ability to read and interpret written information
• Ability to operate a vehicle if required
• Ability to detect sounds related to emergencies
• Physical ability to walk, run, stand, climb, sit, and lift at least 50 lbs.
• Good mental health to make quick decisions in emergencies
• Meet state licensing requirements for security officers, armed or unarmed
