Additional Information About the Role

• PRN - Shifts As Needed
• Minimum of 2-3 shifts every 6 weeks.
• Shift times: 4:00 am - 4:00 pm or 4:00 pm - 4:00 am - 12 hours
• Must be able to attend paid Academy training - M-F 6:30 am - 3 pm - 4 weeks in St. Louis

Overview

Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital is a designated critical access hospital committed to providing quality healthcare services to residents in Crawford, Franklin, and Washington counties.

The hospital has enhanced and expanded healthcare services with a state-of-the-art emergency department, modern childbirth center, critical care unit, multi-room surgical suite, expanded cardiac rehab services, and a cancer center. A 22,500 sq ft medical office building provides primary care offices and space for visiting specialists from St. Louis.

Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital operates four rural health clinics, a comprehensive Therapy and Rehabilitation department, and an award-winning Wound Care Center with hyperbaric chambers.

All security officers patrol the campus to ensure safety and security for patients, visitors, staff, and property, emphasizing customer service.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

The Armed Security Officer provides continuous patrols of the medical center, remaining attentive to the safety and welfare of visitors, patients, volunteers, staff, and hospital property.

Responsibilities

• Individuals must be 21 years or older.
• Respond to emergency situations per Security Department protocols.
• Maintain issued equipment.
• Conduct continuous security patrols.
• Mitigate crisis situations such as codes, disturbances, fires, and disaster drills.
• Complete documentation on patrols and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or GED

Experience

• No experience required; Supervisor experience is a plus.

• Applicable government regulations
• Valid Driver's License
