Job summary

LRLV Security LLC in Sarasota, Florida, is seeking an Armed Security Officer to protect personnel, facilities, and high-value collectibles. You will monitor access, patrol the site, respond to incidents, and coordinate with the security team to maintain a safe environment.

The ideal candidate holds Florida Class D license and Class G firearm license, is 21+, has a clean driving record, and is proficient in English.

Qualifications

• Current Florida Class D Security Officer License required.
• Current Florida Class G Statewide Firearm License required.
• Candidates without active Class D and Class G licenses will not be considered.
• Minimum age 21 years.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Florida Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to stand, walk, patrol, and stay alert for extended periods.
• Strong observation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated reliability and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols throughout the facility.
• Monitor security systems, surveillance equipment, alarms, and access control.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and suspicious activity.
• Control and authorize entrance/exit of personnel, visitors, vendors, contractors.
• Verify credentials and compliance with access procedures.
• Operate metal detection and screening equipment as needed.
• Complete detailed incident reports and logs.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and customers.
• Exercise sound judgment during incidents and emergencies.
• Safeguard assets while ensuring safety of all individuals.
• Support additional security operations as assigned.

Sarasota, FL | Onsite | Full-Time | $23.00/Hour | Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM LRLV Security LLC (License #B1800240) is currently looking for an Armed Security Office r to join our Security Operations team in Sarasota, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for protecting employees, visitors, facilities, and high-value collectible assets through proactive security measures, vigilant observation, controlled access, and rapid response to security incidents.

What You Will Do As An Armed Security Officer

• Perform security patrols throughout the facility.
• Monitor security systems, surveillance equipment, alarms, and access control systems.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and suspicious activity.
• Control and authorize the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors.

• Professionally communicate and interact with employees, visitors, and customers.
• Exercise sound judgment and take appropriate action during security incidents and emergency situations.

• Support additional security operations and duties as assigned.

What Makes You The Ideal Candidate

• Current Florida Class D Security Officer License (REQUIRED).
• Current Florida Class G Statewide Firearm License (REQUIRED).
• Candidates without active Class D and Class G licenses will not be considered.
