Duties and Responsibilities:

• Remain alert, avoid distractions, and observe all activity around the post.
• Patrol a designated area on foot or in a vehicle.
• Enforce company and client policies.
• Observe, report, and document violations of policy by notifying the Shift Lieutenant or Control Dispatch.
• Respond promptly to incidents.
• Protect everyone and everything within the limits and duties of the post.
• Use reasonable force, including lethal force if necessary, to protect life.
• Provide a physical presence to observe, report, and prevent incidents.
• Remain on post until properly relieved.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously and professionally.
• Monitor for irregular or unusual activity.
• Secure the facility and designated areas.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports.

Qualifications:

• Ability to stand or walk for long periods.
• Own a 9mm weapon.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Reliability, positive attitude, and ethical behavior.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 21 years old.
• Armed Security License.
• Prior law enforcement and/or military experience preferred.
