Duties and Responsibilities:

We're hiring reliable, experienced Armed Security Officers! The person in this position will maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and co-workers by patrolling, monitoring premises, and performing search procedures.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Remain alert, avoid distractions, and observe all activity around the post.
2. Patrol a designated area on foot or in a vehicle.
3. Enforce company and client policies.
4. Observe, report, and document violations of policy by notifying the Shift Lieutenant or Control Dispatch.
5. Respond to incidents promptly.
6. Protect everyone and everything within the limits and duties of the post.
7. Use reasonable force, up to and including lethal force, only when necessary to protect life.
8. Observe, report, and prevent incidents by providing a physical presence.
9. Remain on the post until properly relieved.
10. Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors courteously and professionally.
11. Monitor for irregular or unusual activity.
12. Secure the facility and designated areas.
13. Investigate and prepare reports on incidents.

Qualifications:

1. Ability to stand or walk for long periods.
2. Must have your own 9mm weapon.
3. Excellent written and communication skills.
4. Reliability, positive attitude, and ethical behavior.
5. High school diploma or GED equivalent.
6. Must be at least 21 years of age.
7. Armed Security License.
8. Prior Law Enforcement and/or Military background preferred.
9. CLEET Certification.
