Job summary

Doyle Security Services is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to monitor client sites, observe activities, and report incidents to maintain safety of personnel and property. The role requires standing for most shifts and adherence to client site regulations.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 11 am to 7 pm. Must hold a NYS Armed Security Guard License (HR 218, Concealed Carry) and be able to work weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid NYS Armed Security Guard License (HR 218).
• Concealed carry eligibility.
• Available to work weekends.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to verbally de-escalate situations.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling and monitoring access points.
• Completes reports by recording observations and interviewing witnesses.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Monday to Friday 11 am to 7 pm

Pay Range

Up to USD $40.00/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications
