Job description

You will be a part of one of the world's leading elite security companies, providing safety for Federal property, staff, and visitors.

PAY TRANSPARENCY / COMPENSATION :

Hourly Rate $29.45 ($16.20 during training)

Health & Welfare $5.41/hr

Pension $0.55/hr

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Protect personnel and property professionally.
• Interact tactfully and politely with the public and visitors.
• Screen and process visitors effectively.
• Identify, report, delay, or detain persons violating rules.
• Conduct internal and external foot patrols.
• Manage traffic control.
• Maintain high detection rates on x-ray machines.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies promptly.
• Secure entrances and exits during emergencies.
• Control keys and lock combinations.
• Use two-way radios or company-issued cell phones for communication.
• Follow all company policies, post orders, and procedures.
• Observe and report offenses/incidents.
• Complete reports and paperwork accurately.
• Provide first aid, CPR, and emergency assistance as needed.
• Wear protective body armor as part of the uniform.
• Maintain required training, physical fitness, and weapons qualifications.
• Ensure safety compliance and participate in safety and quality programs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Attend work regularly in person.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident with an honorable discharge from the U.S. Armed Forces.
• Must have a social security card.
• Have verifiable experience and education as specified, including:
• At least 2 years of armed security experience or 1 year law enforcement experience, or
• Honorable service in U.S. Armed Forces.

• High School Diploma or equivalent, translated and certified if from outside the U.S.
• Fluent in English, capable of reading, writing, and speaking coherently.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Pass drug, physical, background, and security training exams.

WORKING CONDITIONS :

Work may be indoors or outdoors, with possible travel within the state.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

Stand, walk, sit, and stoop for up to 12 hours daily, in various weather conditions. May involve running, lifting, climbing stairs, and responding to emergencies.
