*Responsibilities*

• Carry out planned activities of the security program and any authorized duties related to emergency management.
• Follow up on pending security issues.
• Implement requirements of the Security Management Plan.
• Manage and coordinate responses to critical incidents.
• Monitor and document security breaches.
• Oversee security systems for leaks or fraud.

Note: This position requires a CCW (Carry Concealed Weapon) certification from Nevada. Failure to include your CCW credentials will result in application denial.

*Qualifications*

• At least 1 year experience as a security officer with extensive public contact.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of Life Safety, TJC CMS, OSHA standards; workplace violence training within 6 months.
• Completion of NIMS ICS 100HCb, 200b, 700a courses or equivalents; CPR, BLS, HA certifications within 90 days.
• IAHSS Basic and Advanced courses within specified timeframes.
• Strong cognitive skills: following instructions, attention, data analysis, task management, interpersonal skills, decision-making.
• Valid State Driver's License or ability to obtain one.
• Certified to Carry Concealed Weapon (CCW) and current CCW documentation.

*Preferred Qualifications:*

• Hospital experience.
