Prosegur Security USA, Inc. in Georgia is seeking reliable, experienced Armed Security Officers to maintain a safe environment for customers and coworkers.

You will patrol, monitor premises, and perform search procedures while enforcing policies and providing professional assistance to visitors and staff. Responsibilities include remaining alert, responding to emergencies, patrolling areas, and documenting incidents.

Qualifications

• Former military or law enforcement background preferred.
• GA Armed Security Officer certification required.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods.
• Must be able to pass a driving skills test and Physical Ability Assessment.
• Possess basic computer skills and communication skills.
• Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behavior.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 21 years old or older.
• Must have own weapon.

Responsibilities

• Remain alert, avoid distractions, and observe all activity around the post
• Give the alarm and assist in response to a fire or the emergency
• Patrol a designated area on foot or in a vehicle
• Enforce company and client policies
• Observe, report, and document violations of policy by notifying the Shift Lieutenant or Control Dispatch
• Respond to incidents
• Protect everyone and everything within the limits and duties of the post
• One will only use reasonable force, up to and including lethal force, when necessary to protect life
• Observe, report, and prevent incidents by providing a physical presence
• Officers will remain on the post and wait until they have a face-to-face relief
• Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Monitor for irregular or unusual activity
• Secure facility and designated areas
• Enforce facility and company policies and procedures
• Investigate and prepare reports on incidents
