Qualifications

• CLEET Phase IV License required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entrances, exits, lobby areas and access points.
• Patrol customer service areas, teller stations, offices, parking lots and grounds.
• Respond to emergencies and disturbances as first line of defense.
• De-escalate tense situations using professional communication techniques.
• Assist staff with hostile or trespassing individuals.
• Enforce security procedures and safety protocols.
• Complete incident and activity reports accurately and timely.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement when necessary.

Job Title: Armed Security Guard

Location: Oklahoma City, OK

DOL Status: Full-time, Non - Exempt

Hours: Weekdays 9am to 5pm

We are seeking a professional and dependable Armed Security Guard to provide dedicated coverage in a bank environment. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure atmosphere for bank employees, customers, and visitors, while serving as a visible deterrent to potential threats.

The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, highly observant, and exceptionally skilled in communication and de-escalation. Bank security requires strong customer service skills combined with the ability to recognize suspicious activity, manage potentially volatile situations, and respond confidently during emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor bank entrances, exits, lobby areas, and designated public or restricted access points.
• Conduct regular patrols of customer service areas, teller stations, administrative offices, parking lots, and perimeter grounds.
• Act as the first line of defense and respond rapidly to emergency calls, active disturbances, and security alerts.
• De-escalate tense situations using professional communication techniques, especially during high-stress situations involving disruptive customers, disputes, or suspicious activity.
• Assist bank staff and management with hostile, combative, or trespassing individuals on the property.
• Enforce bank security procedures, visitor guidelines, and safety protocols regarding access to restricted areas.
• Complete detailed, accurate incident and daily activity reports in a timely manner.
• Coordinate directly with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.

Requirements:

• Ability to work independently during a day shift.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CLEET Phase IV License - Required
