Premier Protective Security (PPS) in Birmingham, AL is hiring Armed Security Guards to join our team. The position requires active Armed Security License, Alabama ASRB Card, valid driver's license, and the ability to supply your own registered firearm used to qualify. Minimum 1 year of experience and the ability to stand/walk long periods and work alone.

Salary is $19 per hour with full-time schedule options. Shifts include nights: Sun-Tue 6pm-6am, Wed 6pm-1am, Thu 1am-6am, and Thur-Sat 6pm-6am.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as Armed Security Guard and possess Alabama ASRB Card.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Must supply own registered firearm used to qualify.
• Minimum 1 year of security experience.
• Ability to stand/walk long periods and work alone.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises and patrolling diverse locations.
• Preserve order and enforce regulations for personnel, visitors, and areas.
• Demonstrate integrity and foster open communication to report improprieties and share information.
• Remain vigilant—seeing, hearing, and evaluating potential risks.
• Be attentive and proactive in noticing unusual activities on client sites.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21+ years of age for ARMED roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience (experience required only for ARMED Roles)
