Job summary

Law Security & Investigations is looking for exceptional Security Guards to join our team in Los Angeles. The role involves patrolling and securing assigned premises while identifying risks to staff and patrons. This position starts part-time, transitioning to full-time, and includes various locations throughout Southern California.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of full-time security experience, while benefits such as health insurance and a 401(k) plan are available for full-time employees after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of full-time uniformed security experience preferred; law enforcement, military and/or National Guard experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• BSIS Guard Card – required for all positions.
• BSIS Exposed Firearms Permit – required for armed positions.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keeping the site, materials, staff and patrons safe.
• Monitoring premises as a visual deterrent to theft, violence, and other infractions.
• Enforcing premise rules and regulations.
• Reporting facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes to Chain of Command.
• Requesting emergency personnel for high-risk situations.
• Safeguarding individuals and property from all forms of security and safety hazards.
• Responding to alarms/fire/panic calls promptly, securing the safety and security of human life and physical property.
• Writing reports.

Job Overview

We are seeking exceptional Security Guards to become an integral part of our team. The selected individual(s) will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons. This position is flex‑roster, starting part‑time and evolving to full‑time in Los Angeles. We have several Southern California locations with different SOPs; many are a static post dealing with access control and site security.

Responsibilities

• Keeping the site, materials, staff and patrons safe.
• Monitoring premises as a visual deterrent to theft, violence, and other infractions.
• Thoroughly examining doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.
• Enforcing premise rules and regulations.
• Reporting facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes to Chain of Command.
• Requesting emergency personnel for high‑risk situations.
• Multi‑tasking, prioritizing and completing tasks in an organized, efficient, and effective manner.
• Safeguarding and maintaining highly sensitive and confidential information.
• Safeguarding individuals and property from all forms of security and safety hazards.
• Responding to alarms/fire/panic calls promptly, securing the safety and security of human life and physical property.
• Strictly adhering to SOPs.
• Writing reports.
• Conducting thorough investigations and preparing written documentation regarding non‑routine incidents with incident reports, pictures and witness statements.

Requirements

Schedule

8‑hour day shift, Monday to Friday, with possible weekend work. Flex roster and part‑time to full‑time options.

Pay

$24.00 – $25.00 per hour.
