Job summary

Law Security & Investigations, Inc. is seeking exceptional Security Guards to patrol and secure assigned premises, identifying risks to staff and patrons. This is a special event position located in West Hollywood with potential to become full-time.

The role is predominantly a static post focused on access control and site security. A BSIS Guard Card and an Exposed Weapons Permit are required for all positions, CPR/AED certification preferred, with copies available on request.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of full-time uniformed security experience preferred.
• BSIS Guard Card – Required for all positions
• BSIS Exposed Firearms Permit– Required for Armed Positions
• Driver’s license – Required
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keeping the site, materials, staff and patrons safe.
• Monitor premises as a visual deterrent to theft, violence, and infractions of rules
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
• Enforce premise rules and regulations
• Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes to Chain of Command
• Write reports and conduct investigations and prepare documentation for non-routine incidents

Job description

We are seeking exceptional Security Guards to become an integral part of our team. The selected individual(s) will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons.

This is a special event position that has the potentialto be full-time in West Hollywood

It is predominantly a static post dealing with access control and site security.

An end date is not set on these contracts but we will inform the hired guard(s) as soon as that information becomes available.

This position requires a validBSIS Guard CardAND anExposed Weapons Permit as well as a valid CPR/AED

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Keeping the site, materials, staff and patrons safe.
• Monitor premises as avisual deterrentto theft, violence, and/or infractions of rules
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
• Enforce premise rules and regulations
• Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes to Chain of Command
• Request emergency personnel for high risk situations
• Multi-tasking, prioritizing and completing tasks in an organized, efficient and effective manner.
• Safeguarding and maintaining highly sensitive and confidential information.
• Safeguarding individuals and property from all forms of security and safety hazards.
• Responding to alarms/fire/panic calls immediately and promptly securing the safety and security of human life and physical property.
• Strictly adhering to SOPs.
• Writing reports.
• Conducting thorough investigations and preparing written documentation regarding non-routine incidents with incident reports, pictures and witness statements.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 1 year of full-time uniformed security experience preferred.
• Law Enforcement, Military and/or National Guard experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license.
• BSIS Guard Card – Required for all positions
• BSIS Exposed Firearms Permit– Required for Armed Positions
• CPR certification preferred.

Job Type: Special Part-time - Full-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour
