Job summary

Silver Star Protection Group LLC in St. Louis is seeking an Armed Security Guard to uphold safety at client sites on Friday to Sunday 7:00am–7:00pm. The role requires an armed license and the ability to obtain a cannabis agent ID, with a willingness to work various shifts.

You will patrol premises, monitor surveillance, document incidents, and report to management. Candidates should have high school diploma, own a firearm with level 2 retention holster or higher, pass a drug test, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Armed license is required.
• Cannabis agent ID is required or able to obtain.
• Must own a firearm with a level 2 retention holster or higher.
• Able to pass a drug test (St. Louis specific).
• Previous armed security or related experience preferred.
• Strong situational awareness and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and de-escalation skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.
• Capability to respond quickly and effectively in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide security services at the assigned client site(s), ensuring the safety and security of personnel, premises, and assets.
• Be available to work various shifts and client sites as needed. Schedule and locations may change depending on client needs, staffing requirements, or other operational factors.
• Maintain professionalism in all interactions with clients, visitors, and staff. Ensure that all communication fosters a positive and secure environment.
• Conduct regular patrols of the assigned site and monitor surveillance equipment, ensuring adherence to the client’s security protocols.
• Accurately document any incidents, security breaches, or irregularities, and promptly report them to the appropriate personnel for follow-up.
• Additional duties as assigned by Silver Star leadership team.
