Premier Protective Security (PPS) is hiring an Armed Security Officer for the TN region. The role requires TN armed security licensing, a clean driver’s license, and the ability to stand and patrol for extended periods.

You will be responsible for maintaining safety, responding to incidents, and delivering customer service across client sites. The position offers overnight shifts Thursday through Sunday (11 pm – 8 am) with competitive pay at $23.00 per hour and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Must be at least 21+ years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
Background investigation conducted per federal, state and local laws.
Drug screen required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service while actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling various locations.
Preserve order and enforce site regulations for personnel, visitors and areas.
Demonstrate integrity and open communication; report improprieties and share information.
Maintain vigilance by seeing, hearing and evaluating potential risks or incidents.

Salary: $23.00 an hour

Shift: Thu - Sun (11 pm - 8 am)

Qualifications

Must be at least 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience (experience required only for Armed Roles)
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Premier Protective Security will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver\'s license will be required for driving positions only.

All offers are contingent upon the following:

Ability to obtain security certification according to the State
Ability to pass drug screen
Ability to pass background check
E-Verification Approval
Completion of on-boarding process
Approval and interview with assigned site manager
Failure to meet any one of the above requirements will disqualify the candidate from the above conditional offer, including the completion of on-the-job training and all other site-specific training.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
