• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and critical situations calmly and with professional problem-solving.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of library facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Prepare clear incident reports and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and client contacts.

As a Security Guard Armed Full Time Patrol Checkpoint Coverage in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patrons, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points and activity throughout a public library environment, assisting with access control and reporting unusual conditions to site leadership and/or law enforcement as directed.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of library facilities, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, maintain required documentation, and communicate observations and relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and designated client contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
