You will coordinate with local authorities in emergencies and uphold outstanding customer service standards.

The position requires a valid guard card, CA firearm permit, and prior security experience. Weekend, swing, and overnight shifts are included with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Guard Card is required.
• CA State Firearm permit (Exposed firearm permit) required.
• Prior security guard experience required.
• Military or law enforcement background preferred.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and hospitality while greeting visitors.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Reliable and able to work without constant supervision.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the safety and security of the Baldwin Park facility and grounds.
• Operate lobby, patrols, cameras, alarm system, and emergency procedures.
• Serve as receptionist/greeter in the lobby for visitors.
• Screen and log visitors entering and exiting the complex.
• Conduct surveillance and security patrols; follow protocol.
• Contact law enforcement or fire department in emergencies.
• After hours, check doors and windows for security.
• Investigate suspicious activity on the property.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service at all times.
• Work with teamwork and cooperation to perform duties.
