Responsibilities

• Keeping the site, materials, staff and patrons safe.
• Monitor premises as a visual deterrent to theft, violence, and/or infractions of rules.
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.
• Enforce premise rules and regulations.
• Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes to Chain of Command.
• Respond to alarms/fire/panic calls immediately and promptly securing the safety and security of human life and physical property.
• Write reports and conduct thorough investigations and prepare written documentation regarding non-routine incidents.

Job description

We are seeking exceptional Security Guards to become an integral part of our team. The selected individual(s) will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons.

This is a seasonal part-time position to full-time in Hanford, CA.

It is predominantly a static post dealing with access control and site security.

An end date is not set on these contracts but we will inform the hired guard(s) as soon as that information becomes available.

This position requires aBSIS Guard Card
BSIS Exposed Weapons Permit & valid CPR/AED from either American Red Cross or American Heart Assoc. Please have copies of these available upon request.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Keeping the site, materials, staff and patrons safe.
• Monitor premises as avisual deterrentto theft, violence, and/or infractions of rules
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
• Enforce premise rules and regulations
• Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes to Chain of Command
• Request emergency personnel for high risk situations
• Multi-tasking, prioritizing and completing tasks in an organized, efficient and effective manner.
• Safeguarding and maintaining highly sensitive and confidential information.
• Safeguarding individuals and property from all forms of security and safety hazards.
• Responding to alarms/fire/panic calls immediately and promptly securing the safety and security of human life and physical property.
• Strictly adhering to SOPs.
• Writing reports.
• Conducting thorough investigations and preparing written documentation regarding non-routine incidents with incident reports, pictures and witness statements.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 1 year of full-time uniformed security experience preferred.
• Law Enforcement, Military and/or National Guard experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license.
• BSIS Guard Card - Required for all positions
• BSIS Exposed Firearms Permit - Required for Armed Positions
• CPR certification required.

Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
