Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Security Guard - Driver in Denver, CO. This full-time role requires patrolling transit facilities, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a professional presence to deter incidents.

You will respond to emergencies, monitor access points, and coordinate with transit staff and emergency services as needed. Qualified candidates have 1 year security experience, an armed guard license, a valid driver's license, and are at least 21 years old.

• Be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at transit facilities and surrounding grounds.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with transit personnel and public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, vehicle access points, administrative areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and public areas, report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations, and document incidents through clear and accurate reports.
• Maintain required firearms qualifications and follow all applicable laws, licensing requirements, post orders, and Allied Universal procedures for armed assignments.

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

• Tue: 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Fri: 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Sat: 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Sun: 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card/license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
