Job Description

As an Armed Security Guard - Corrections Location - Morning Shift in Butner, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with individuals on site, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This armed post requires you to respond promptly to situations as they arise, always acting with integrity and professionalism. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report any concerns according to established protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
• Document incidents and observations as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• North Carolina Armed Security Professional License preferred.
• North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
