Job summary

Premier Protective Security in Albuquerque, NM seeks armed security guards to monitor and protect client sites on a full‑time basis. The role requires carrying a semi‑automatic firearm and maintaining vigilance during patrols and incident response.

You will enforce regulations, assist employees and visitors, and respond to incidents with composure and problem solving. A valid NM Level 3 Guard Card and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current NM Level 3 Security Guard Card.
• Own and be able to carry a semi-automatic firearm.
• Prior Armed Security Officer experience.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe environment by monitoring and patrolling premises.
• Enforce site regulations for personnel and visitors.
• Provide customer service to employees and clients.

Seeking Armed Security Guards in Albuquerque, NM.

Location: 2501 University Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107

Salary: $22.50 per hour (non‑negotiable)

Shift: Mon - Wed (6 pm–6 am), Fri (12 am–6 am)

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Level 3 Security Guard Card in the State of New Mexico.
• Own and be able to carry a semi‑automatic firearm (e.g., 9 mm, .40 cal, .45 cal).
• Prior experience as an Armed Security Officer.
• Background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Valid driver’s license (required only for driving positions).

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring and patrolling premises.
• Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
• Provide customer service and information to clients’ employees and customers.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with problem‑solving skills.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; work conditions may vary by client site.
• Use vigilance to detect potential risks or incidents on client premises.
