Job summary

New Age Protection, Inc is seeking experienced Armed Security Officers to join our team in New Mexico. Full-time roles available across Day, Swing, and Overnight shifts, with duties including patrols, incident reporting, and safeguarding access logs.

Minimum 3–4 years of armed security experience, valid NM Level III license, and a high school diploma or GED are required. Applicable certifications such as NM Firearms, Baton, OC spray, and Handcuff are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico Level III Security Guard License (Guard Card).
• Minimum 3–4 years of armed security experience.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Working knowledge of standard security procedures, practices, and emergency response protocols.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and random foot patrols to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Utilize electronic tour tracking software to document patrols and complete daily assignments.
• Monitor and maintain employee and visitor access logs.
• Prepare detailed, accurate, and timely incident reports.
• Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies while following established procedures.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.
• Enforce site policies and security procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

Applicants must be able to:

• Run or respond quickly during emergency situations.
