Job summary
Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. is seeking Armed Security Officers for government and public facilities across Los Angeles County, including Palmdale. Officers patrol, deter criminal activity, respond to incidents, and provide exceptional customer service while following security procedures.

Qualifications
- Valid California BSIS Guard Card.
- Valid California Driver's License or CA ID.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Valid Baton Permit and Baton Training Certification.
- Valid Pepper Spray Permit.
- Current CPR Certification with AED.
- Current First Aid Certification.
- Current California Firearm Permit and Firearm Qualification Card.
- BSIS Firearms Training Certification.
- Ability to complete background screening and security clearance processes.
Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned facilities and surrounding property.
- Maintain a visible security presence to deter crime.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, emergencies, and requests for assistance.
- Prepare accurate incident, activity, and investigation reports.
- Monitor facility access and enforce security procedures.
- Provide professional customer service while interacting with staff and the public.
- Assist with emergency response procedures, evacuations, and safety-related incidents.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, post orders, and laws/regulations.

We are seeking professional, dependable, and service-oriented Armed Security Officers to provide security services at government and public service facilities throughout Los Angeles County. Officers are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and members of the public while delivering exceptional customer service and adhering to all applicable security procedures and regulations.
- Patrol assigned facilities and surrounding property to identify and address security concerns.

- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to respond quickly to emergency situations.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment as necessary.
- Must be capable of performing all essential job duties safely and effectively.
Employment and assignment are contingent upon successful completion of:
- Fingerprint‑based criminal background investigation.
- Identity verification.
- Review of required licenses, certifications, and employment documentation.
- Any additional client or site‑specific clearance requirements.
- Experience working in public sector, government, social services, healthcare, or high‑traffic customer service environments.
- Military service experience.
- Strong report writing and communication skills.
