Job summary

Inter‑Con Security Systems, Inc. is seeking Unarmed Security Officers to protect critical facilities and venues. The role includes rigorous training, a strong team environment, and opportunities to advance within a veteran‑friendly company.

You will join a highly trained security team, receive initial instruction from firearms instructors, and support client sites with professional protective services. Open availability is required for night shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Current guard card license as required by state or local law (BSIS).
• CPR/First-Aid and Blood Borne Pathogens certification (training provided).
• Valid California Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Secure assets at client sites, indoors or outdoors, as part of a trained security team.
• Open availability for nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as directed.
• Perform daily security activities, standing/walking for extended periods and responding to incidents.

Qualifications

• Current guard card license as required by state or local law (BSIS).
• CPR/First‑Aid and Blood Borne Pathogens certification (training provided).
• Valid California Driver’s License.
• Pass a 5‑panel drug test prior to placement.
• Pass a criminal history check independent of state professional certification requirements.
• Undergo employment verification check back to age 18.
• May be required to perform emergency duties requiring physical exertion such as standing or walking for an entire shift, climbing stairs, lifting or carrying objects up to 75 lbs., and running.
• Complete IAHSS and CPI certifications.
• Submit a TB test.
