Description
There are two full time positions and a part time position available.
Shift 1 - 10pm-6am Mon-Fri (2 available schedules)
You must possess an unarmed and armed guard card.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
- Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
Able to:
- Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
- Occasionally lift or carry up to 150 pounds
- Be able to climb stairs and ramps
- Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
- Able to pass a physical standard test
- Willing to be trained and learn
Required:
- Active Arizona Unarmed and Armed Guard Card
Preferred but not required:
- Experience with firearms/firearms training
- Military, law enforcement and corrections experience
- Customer service and communication skills
- EMT and Medical Training
Experience:
- Security: 1 year (Preferred)
Responsibilities:
- Absorb Company SOPs and Site Information: Cadets are expected to become a “sponge,” absorbing all information about the company’s Standard Operating Procedures and the specific details of the sites they are assigned to. This will be demonstrated through written tests.
- Seek Guidance and Clarification: If unsure about any aspect of their duties or the company’s policies, Cadets must seek guidance from their superiors. They should document any questions and share the answers with the Chain of Command to ensure clarity and consistency across the team.
- Adhere to Uniform Standards: Cadets are expected to learn and adhere to the company’s uniform standards, presenting themselves professionally at all times.
- Observe and Report Insubordination: Cadets must report any instances of insubordination to the Chain of Command (COC) to maintain discipline and order.
- Communicate Effectively: Cadets are responsible for ensuring that they understand any new company policies or updates accurately.
- Participate in Regular Check-Ins: Cadets are expected to meet with their Sergeant on a regular basis, typically weekly, to discuss their progress and any challenges they may be facing.
- Right TPU: Cadets are expected to arrive at the right time, right place and in the right uniform. This can be accomplished by using the provided software to see scheduled shifts and locate addresses.
- FTO: Cadets are expected to follow the directions and rules set forth by the probation program and their FTO.
