Position Details

We are hiring part-time Armed Security Guards in Tabor City, NC. This role involves patrolling correctional facilities and ensuring security both inside and outside the premises, without inmate interaction.

• The position pays $21.00 per hour
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Driver's License
• Must be able to certify at the range to obtain an armed NCPPSB guard card
• Shifts are 12 hours: 6pm - 6am

$2,000 hiring bonus for candidates with an active Armed NCPPSB guard card.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in armed security, corrections, military, or law enforcement is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by implementing safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency responses
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises; environment may vary by site

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Undergo background checks and drug screening as required by law
• Participate in industry-specific security/safety training
• State/local licensing requirements may apply
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions
