PalAmerican Security in Florida is seeking an highly skilled Armed Security Guard to protect a designated site. This part-time night role runs Friday through Sunday, 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, totaling 30 hours weekly. Must be 21+ and hold a Florida D&G license where required.

You will patrol, enforce rules, respond to emergencies, monitor CCTV, and engage with the public while delivering precise incident reporting. Strong customer service and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older and hold a Florida armed security license where required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; valid driver license preferred.
• Excellent customer service, logging, and incident reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a physical presence as a visible security deterrent.
• Patrol the site and monitor CCTV to identify potential issues.

Job Summary:

• Maintain the security and safety of the assigned site through regular patrols
• Actively enforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
• Respond to emergency situations and provide security assistance
• Engage with the public to offer assistance and directions
• Monitor closed-circuit television for potential issues

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Maintain a physical presence within the facility as a visible deterrent to illegal activity
• Provide superior customer care to enhance the facility's atmosphere
• Keep accurate logs and write detailed incident reports
• Prevent unauthorized access to the area and items within

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Must be 21 years old
• Must have valid armed license where required
• Strong commitment to the well-being of others

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of related experience
• Active Armed Security license
• Valid Driver's License

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing for up to 4 hours
• Foot patrol and ability to lift up to 15 pounds
• Must stay alert at all times
