Job summary

PalAmerican Security in Nashville is seeking a highly capable Armed Security Guard for weekend duties. This part-time role requires a TN Armed Guard Card, background check, and drug test; schedule is 2100-0500 on Friday and Saturday with biweekly pay at $25 hourly.

You will patrol the site, enforce rules, respond to incidents, assist the public, monitor CCTV, and maintain logs, documenting details in incident reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of related security experience preferred.
• Active Armed Security license and TN residency where required.
• Must pass background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible security presence and perform regular patrols.
• Enforce site rules, policies, and procedures.
• Respond to emergencies and provide security assistance.
• Engage with the public and offer directions as needed.
• Monitor CCTV and keep logs; write incident reports.

Job Summary:

• Maintain the security and safety of the assigned site through regular patrols
• Actively enforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
• Respond to emergency situations and provide security assistance
• Engage with the public to offer assistance and directions
• Monitor closed-circuit television for potential issues

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Maintain a physical presence within the facility as a visible deterrent to illegal activity
• Provide superior customer care to enhance the facility's atmosphere
• Keep accurate logs and write detailed incident reports
• Prevent unauthorized access to the area and items within

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Must be 21 years old
• Must have valid armed license where required
• Strong commitment to the well-being of others
• Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in using computer systems and applications

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of related experience
• Active Armed Security license
• Valid Driver's License

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing for up to 4 hours
• Foot patrol and ability to lift up to 15 pounds
• Must stay alert at all times
