Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking an Armed Security Flex Officer in Bakersfield, CA. The role requires flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays across sites.

You will perform perimeter checks, monitor access, and respond to incidents to protect people and property. Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid BSIS Guard Card and armed license, plus at least two years in security with strong de-escalation skills.

Qualifications

• Must have flexibility to work any day and any shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. with valid certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years security experience and ability to de-escalate.
• Armed security license and firearm qualifications per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct perimeter checks and monitor access points.
• Inspect fences, gates, and buildings for tampering or suspicious activity.
• Deter theft and respond to alarms or emergencies.
• Write detailed incident reports and log shifts.
• Ensure compliance with client safety policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during incidents.
