Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer Vehicle Driver in Albuquerque, NM. You will serve and safeguard clients across government facilities, conducting patrols and delivering customer service with a professional, vigilant presence.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and an armed guard card is preferred. Training, growth opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package are provided in a full-time position.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Armed guard card/license preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner; notify relevant personnel or responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry per site procedures, noting visitor and contractor activity.
• Prepare accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and observations in line with policies.
