Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Driver Badge Operations in Magna, UT. This full-time role requires patrolling aerospace and defense sites, monitoring access, and responding to incidents while maintaining a visible, professional security presence.

You will carry out security procedures, perform armed patrols, and prepare incident reports, using strong communication and customer service skills to protect clients and assets.

Qualifications

• Access Control/Badge Experience preferred.
• Handcuffing Certification preferred.
• Customer Service Experience preferred.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established post orders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site contacts.
