The Armed Security Officer plays a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, visitors, and guests. This position is responsible for responding promptly and effectively to emergency situations, including active threats and alarm activations, while enforcing institutional policies such as the weapons‑free campus. The officer conducts regular security patrols, monitors surveillance systems, and investigates incidents to uphold safety standards. Additionally, the role involves assisting with calls for medical aid, managing sensitive situations like employee terminations and prisoner security, and providing exceptional customer service by supporting screening processes, access control, and visitor assistance.
Salary Range: $19.17 - $29.21. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job‑related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among team members in similar positions.
